Analisis Persepsi Siswa terhadap Pemanfaatan Sublime Text dalam Pembelajaran Pemrograman Website SMK
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi siswa terhadap pemanfaatan Sublime Text dalam pembelajaran pemrograman web di kelas XI Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak SMK Negeri 6 Konawe. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei. Responden penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak SMK Negeri 6 Konawe yang berjumlah 15 orang, terdiri atas 8 siswa laki-laki dan 7 siswa perempuan, dengan teknik total sampling. Penggunaan total sampling dilakukan karena jumlah populasi relatif kecil dan seluruh siswa telah menggunakan Sublime Text dalam pembelajaran pemrograman web. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner tertutup skala Likert lima poin yang mencakup indikator kemudahan penggunaan, kenyamanan, efektivitas pembelajaran, dan kendala penggunaan Sublime Text. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk menggambarkan persepsi siswa, sedangkan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk digunakan sebagai analisis pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa terhadap penggunaan Sublime Text berada pada kategori positif dengan rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 3,86. Item dengan rata-rata tertinggi terdapat pada R7 (4,60) dan R10 (4,33), sedangkan item dengan rata-rata terendah terdapat pada R4 (3,13). Hasil uji Shapiro-Wilk menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal dengan nilai signifikansi 0,061. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sublime Text dipersepsikan sebagai code editor yang ringan, sederhana, dan membantu praktek pemrograman web, khususnya pada pembelajaran dasar. Namun, beberapa siswa masih mengalami kendala terkait keterbatasan fitur visual dan tidak tersedianya live preview secara langsung sehingga diperlukan dukungan plugin atau media tambahan untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar. Dengan jumlah responden yang terbatas, hasil penelitian ini difokuskan untuk menggambarkan kondisi pada kelas yang diteliti dan tidak dimaksudkan untuk generalisasi pada populasi yang lebih luas.
